Ethan Bale, Local Author

Come and meet local author Ethan Bale who will be discussing the challenges of writing historical fiction set in the Middle Ages and later. He is the author of “Hawker and the King’s Jewel (2022) and “The Lost Prince” (2023) both set in the final days of the Wars of the Roses. He’ll be talking about how he began publishing, his earlier career as a journalist, and how donning and fighting in armour really helps to write realistic battle scenes! Event is free.
