A firm favourite with audiences in the South East, pianist Thomas Kelly, prize winner at HIPCC and Leeds, amongst others, makes a welcome return to Battle Festival.
Set in the stunning atmosphere of the Abbott’s Hall, his programme is sure to whet the appetite of any piano lover: a first half of Schubert/Liszt song arrangements, to include “Erlkönig”, and a second half of fireworks; Liszt originals followed by grandes études of Paganini. Fully licensed bar available from 7pm.
